I schedule appointments, arrange transportation, and can come along to take notes, ask questions, and make sure nothing gets lost in translation. Afterward, I follow up on instructions and referrals and send a summary to family so everyone stays informed.

A fall, a sudden change, a scary phone call. I'm here to help stabilize the situation, arrange short-term home care if needed, and update the care plan. If a hospital visit is involved, I'll do everything I can to be there, supporting your loved one and keeping the family in the loop.

This isn't a substitute for 911 or emergency care.

Coming home from the hospital or a rehab stay can be overwhelming. I work with discharge planners, walk families through the instructions, and get home care or equipment lined up ahead of time so the transition home is smooth.

Whether weekly or monthly, in person for local clients or by phone and video for families further away, I check in to see how things are really going: comfort, routine, connection, general wellbeing. I build the schedule that fits your family.

From scam awareness to keeping personal supplies stocked and reordered as needed, I help with the small things that add up.

For in-person clients, this can include help organizing the mail.

For clients I see in person, I look at the home through the lens of memory and orientation: visual cues, simple layout changes, memory aids, and can connect you with contractors to help make it happen. For virtual clients, I'll refer you to a qualified professional, like an occupational therapist, for an in-person assessment.

I walk through the home with an eye for lighting, flooring, stairs, and clutter, and recommend practical fixes and safety equipment, connecting you with trusted contractors when needed. Virtual clients are referred to a qualified professional for an in-person evaluation.

Medical alert systems, fall detection, telehealth, family monitoring apps: there are a lot of options. I help you choose, set up, and learn the basics of the right ones for your family.

I stay in touch with family, facility staff, and community resources, so you're never left wondering what's going on or juggling calls from three different people.

When it's time to make a decision together, about care, about a move, about what's next, I facilitate the conversation as a neutral guide, helping everyone get on the same page.

Caring for a parent while caring for your own family is exhausting. I offer coaching on boundaries and burnout, and help arrange respite care so you can catch your breath.

I help you research and connect with home care agencies and private caregivers, and I check in regularly to make sure the care being provided is what was promised.

Independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing: I help you research, tour, and compare options, and I'm in your corner throughout the transition.

Senior centers, meal programs, transportation services, local nonprofits: I help you find the resources that support independence and quality of life.

Long-term care insurance claims, Medicare paperwork, MassHealth redetermination: I help track and organize the administrative side of existing claims.
